During the night, Tip Top II had moved to Genoseva Island.  After breakfast, we had a dry landing at Darwin's Bay.

As can be seen above, Darwin's Bay is the caldera of an extinct volcano which has been partially eroded.  We had the opportunity to do some swimming and snorkeling in these protected waters.  The cliffs and salt bush offer cover for many species of birds as can be seen from the group photos.

After lunch, we went to the eastern side of the island to a dry landing at Prince Phillip's Steps.  They were named after Prince Phillip (oddly enough) after he visited in 1965.  These steps led to the top of the sea cliff where we found a great variety of birds.

While the above picture is not of our group, it does give a good shot of how the steps allowed us to get up to the top of the cliff to see the Frigate birds, Red-billed Tropicbirds and Red-footed Boobies perched on Palo Santo trees.
