Where did the time go? At 9:00 the folks at Far Flung Outdoor Center showed up at the lodge with two rented vans and a pickup to hold all of our luggage. We set off on the six hour trip back to El Paso for another night at the Hawthorn and then departing on various aircraft to return to our home destinations. Now we have the memories of a fantastic experience, along with a few bruises and many blisters! While Big Bend National park may be the least visited park due to its relative isolation, it certainly is one of the most interesting parks in the country. I love to fly, so some pictures from the airplane window on day 7 are included. Our time togeather as Road Scholars was short, but we were a fantastic, diverse group of people who will live in our memories forever.
