In Lesa's notes.
"General Rosecranz was from Evanston, Indiana. Bud Darragh and my mother told me, when I was small that General R. had a flatcar of furniture taken from the Murfreesboro area, after the Battle of Stones River, and sent to his home. Aunty Darragh claims the Bible was hidden in the piano. She and my mother received it, when it was returned to the Murfreesboro post office around 1916. " Letter from Lucy Dickinson to Lesa 9/21/76. Lesa agrees that the story about the flat car is true.
