Nicholas married Elizabeth Crawford, daughter of David Crawford Esq and Unknown, about 1687 in Saint Peter's Parish, New Kent County, Virginia. (Elizabeth Crawford was born in 1672 in Assaquin, New Kent, Virginia, USA and died before 11 May 1762 in , Louisa, Virginia, USA.)
