  Noted events in his life were:

1. Immigration. Abel and Arthur ran away from home in Essex and Norfolk , England:Sheringham Hall. "He landed at the capes Hateras(?) and settled in Essex Co., Virginia. This information is from the Register of Kentucky State Historical Society, written for "Society of Colonial Daughters" by Miss Sally Jackson. He came to America in 1640 at age 18, with his brother Arthur."
