Katherine E. Little "Kathy" (Nee Swiss) age 75 of Wayne died Monday, July 28, 2003 at the Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains.
She was born in Newark and had lived in Kearny before moving to Wayne twelve years ago.
Mrs. Little was an office clerk at Cooper Industries in Parsippany for thirty years before her retirement in 1989.
She received her formal education at Kearny High School graduating with the Class of 1945.
Some of her family's fondest memories are her dedication as a loving Mother and Grandmother. She was the master family baker of goodies that were always at hand. One of the highlights of her life was the arrival of Grandchildren. It could be said they made her daily life a joyous event.
When the family took vacations Mom was brought along to such places as Florida, Cape Cod and Oregon. In Oregon an especially nice time was had hiking with Llamas.
Surviving are one son Raymond Little and his wife Hyang-Kum of Wayne; one daughter Linda Townsend and her husband Edward of Wayne; two Grandchildren Katie and Ken Townsend.
Her brother Walter Swiss predeceased her in July 2002.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 31, 2003 at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne.
